| Tamera Dejesus wants to go to dance school. Her father objects her decision to go to dance school and just study to be a doctor. Tamera tries to convince her sister Kat to lie to her dad about where she will be. Over dinner, Kat teases Tamera about going to the auditions. Tamera gets upset. She dreams of her mother who supported her dancing when she was little. Tamera goes to the audition and finds out she is in steep competition with the other dancers. While at the audition, her father gets a heart attack while shopping for his garden with Kat. When Tamera gets home she finds out about her father's condition and rushes to the hospital. At the hospital, Tamera confesses to her father about the audition and that she made it into the school. Tamera's father has a change of heart and finally accepts his daughter's dream. |
